In Word, bringing in content from another window is done from the Insert tab with the Screenshot options. The tool lets you grab an image of an open window or draw a specific area of the screen to insert.

When you choose Screenshot, Word shows thumbnails of your open windows so you can insert the whole window with a single click. If you need just a part of the screen, use Screen Clipping. Word dims the screen and lets you draw a rectangle around the area you want; releasing inserts that clipped image at the cursor location.
